Bank of America consolidating suburban workers in downtown’s 833 East building
Bank of America Merrill Lynch is consolidating its Milwaukee-area offices to the 833 East building at the downtown lakefront.
Most of the seventh floor will house the banking and wealth management company, starting the first quarter of 2019. The space will have Bank of America’s local, non-retail office operations, many of which will move from suburban locations in the Milwaukee area, according to Mark Irgens, CEO of Irgens.
“More than half of the space is suburban uses moving downtown,” he said.
833 East will house Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth and Investment Management Division and Bank of America’s Global Banking and Markets Division, according to the company.
